Question about what to use to seal /finish a project

Hello everyone,

I am working on a new series of work, decorating covers of photo ablums, using mixed media/collage and I want the books to be extremely durable, professional looking and last the test of time. What sugguestions would you have of what to use to seal the work, to put a coating over it to make sure it doesnt fade or get demaged in any way. I have used mostly oil paints, collage images, some ribbon and buttons, I'm looking a sealant that will work on all those things. Any sugguestions? Please!!!

Thank you so much!

Varathane Diamond finish lasts for years. Dries clear and hard, easy to put on, very sturdy , comes in can and spray. I would experiment on the side before spraying one of your beautiful works.
